Over the last six years, the Bled Strategic Forum has emerged as one of the leading annual gatherings in the region. Every year it brings together great thinkers from politics, economy, and academia.

It is intended to promote a high-level strategic dialogue between leaders from the private and public sectors on the key issues facing Europe and the 21st century world. It has taken place annually since 2006 in the Slovenian resort town of Bled, world-renown for its beautiful alpine lake.

Hope to see you at Bled on 2 and 3 September 2012.

Quotes about the Forum

"For anyone who follows Balkan affairs, the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia was the place to be this week. Outside, a mysterious mist rose from Bled's picture-postcard lake; inside, pressing issues were being quietly demystified" (Tim Judah, Balkans Correspondent, The Economist).
